Structures/Dynamics Flight Test Engineer - RM

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Structures/Dynamics Flight Test Engineer for a 2-year contract position in West Palm, FL!

Please note: Position will commence in West Palm Beach, Florida and will migrate to Maryland in mid-2017.

Description:
� Onsite activities with the test aircraft required.
� Plan, prepare, conduct and report on structures and dynamics flight tests.
� Key responsibilities within Structures/Dynamics Flight Test include initial envelope expansion and development tests, flight loads/strain and vibration surveys, dynamic stability tests and structural oversight of tests performed by other disciplines.
� The test planning function involves determining measurement and flight condition requirements necessary to safely provide evaluation, qualification and certification data.
� These details are written into published test plans. The test conduct function involves briefing flight and ground crews and providing real-time telemetry monitoring of critical parameters.
� Large volumes of gathered flight test data are processed and analyzed to support development and/or certification/qualification.
� Test results, conclusions and recommendations are published in reports.
Candidate must have:
� At least 10 years of experience in aircraft structures or dynamics (applied or theoretical), with 5 years of experience in flight test. Rotary wing experience preferred.
Note:
� This position involves significant teamwork and coordination with flight test co-workers in a variety of disciplines (pilots, mechanics, inspectors, instrumentation and data technicians), technical customers, qualification or certification authority representatives, and subject matter expert design/test engineers.
� Good interpersonal skills are imperative.
