Description:
Johnson Service Group is seeking an Instrumentation Strain Gage Technician for a 12+ month contract opportunity in Stratford, CT!!!

1ST AND 2ND SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Description: Skills/Experience Required

7 to 10 years� experience doing the exact skills required for this position.
Strong strain gage installation experience required to support ongoing Engineering Flight and Ground test operations.
Must have knowledge of strain gage bridge wiring methodology.
Must be able to Select, Apply, and Wire strain gages to aircraft and facility components manufactured from of a variety of metals and composites.
Must have experience and ability to accomplish required surface preparation, gage measurement, layout, alignment and bonding.
Must have experience with measurement systems, instrumentation wiring and documentation.
Education/ Certifications

High School Diploma or GED minimum
Contractors must be able to provide current LO/TO Authorized certification (OSHA 1910.147) prior to starting assignment. If the candidate is unable to provide current and acceptable documentation of proof of their LO/TO
Authorized knowledge the following online course must be taken and certification of completion must be provided prior to beginning assignment.�
