Description:

CANDIDATES WITH ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE ONLY!!! Researches and designs electrical systems for integration into various fixed wing platforms. Interpret customer requirements to research, develop and document electrical designs using applicable industry specifications such as SAE AS50881 and related design and drafting standards

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:

• Ability to work under little or no supervision
• Familiarity with SAE AS50881 design guidelines
• Understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.100 or related design and drafting standards
• Ability to perform electrical analysis (loads analysis, RF analysis, and worst case circuit analysis)
• Ability to create and review all electrical drawing types (schematics, cable harness, etc)
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D design software tools
• Demonstrated previous success working in a team based environment to meet objectives
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Desired:

• Familiarity with C130 or other fixed wing aircraft
• Experience with programming environments Labview and/or Matlab
• Experience with the an engineering change process and/or configuration control process
• Experience with Catia V5 or other modern 3D parametric modeling program
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM software
• Active DoD secret level clearance
