Electrical Brackets & Installation Engineers - Greensboro, NC

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Electrical Brackets & Installation Engineers for open positions in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Job Duties:

• Develops and maintains electrical brackets and installation designs.
• Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Develops statements of work, schedules and budgets.
• Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design architecture.
• Provides specialized technical assistance to team members outside of the assigned group.
• Uses advanced techniques and modified extension of theories to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
• Determines and develops own approach to solutions within schedule and cost objectives.
• Actively works to improve daily processes and ensures all work meets customer requirements.
• Maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field of study.
• 8+ years of design engineering experience within aircraft structures is required.
• Previous designing brackets for electrical harnesses and equipment installation is preferred.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V5 3D solid modeling workbench or equivalent (i.e. Solidworks, Unigraphics).
• Familiarity with tolerance study (GD&T).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to explain and present analysis and assumptions in a rational manner.
