Systems Engineer - Level 3

Description:
Inconen is looking for a Systems Engineer - Level 3 for our client, a well-known Aerospace Company, in Canoga Park, CA.

**Candidates must be U.S. Citizens without Dual Citizenship**
**Our client mandates that all employees and contractors must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19**
**Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance or have had an active Secret Clearance within the last two years**

Duties:
-The systems analyst primarily will perform advanced concept thermodynamic design of thermal fluid propulsion systems that meet functional vehicle/mission requirements
-During the development activities of these propulsion systems the systems analyst will primarily conduct performance analyses and evaluate the steady state and transient operation of these propulsion systems.
-Duties may include evaluation of ground test and flight data to determine engine health and conformance to performance requirements.
-Duties will include creating, maintaining and using math models of propulsion systems which characterize the thermodynamic, aerodynamic, fluid dynamic and mechanical operation of these systems.

Skills:
-The candidate should have an educational background in heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics and have demonstrated skills in writing engineering analyses in various programming languages (FORTRAN, C++, Matlab/Simulink etc.).
-Good written and oral communication skills are required. Candidate must be self-motivated, maintain attention to detail, and have good interpersonal skills to work effectively in team environments.
-Schedule flexibility to provide test support or flight support outside of normal office hours is required.
