Job Description:
This position is with the Advanced Development Programs Software Systems group in Fort Worth, TX. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. (For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT).

This position is for a software engineer. The chosen candidate will be joining a team that provides technical support to multiple organizations within the Aeronautics Business Area. The individual will be responsible for software development of Artificial Intelligence applications and tools for use within multiple environments.

Required Skills:

Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Advanced System Design, or Software Engineering

Experience with C++, Java, and Python
Experience with Tensow Flow, PyTorch, Keras, or SciKit-Learn
Experience with Windows and LINUX/UNIX development platforms
Experience with integrated development environment (IDE) tools, such as Jupyter Notebook, Eclipse or Spyder
Experience with Agile software development
Experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies
Experience with automated testing and creation of unit tests
Experience with MATLAB or Simulink
Working knowledge of Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) and/or other digital signature platforms (i.e. PKI)
Working knowledge of source code management
Experience presenting technical status and solutions to leadership
Ability to travel
