Development Test Engineer / Electric Propulsion

Description:
Title: Development Test Engineer - Electric Propulsion
Location: Canoga Park, CA
Duration: 6+ months contract

Experience/familiarity with the following preferred:

Electric Propulsion
Vacuum chamber systems and low pressure environments
High voltage circuits and electronics
Thruster testing or hollow cathode operation
Plasma physics and plasma diagnostic tools (Faraday probes, Retarding Potential Analyzers, ExB probes, etc.)
Plasma interaction with materials
Thruster performance characteristics (Thrust, Isp, efficiency, etc.)
Understanding of magnetic fields and conductive/radiative heat transfer
Skills:

Test experience
Writing test plans
Performing test setup
Test analysis
Basic understanding of facility requirements and test article installation
Microsoft Office
Education:

B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, or related field.
