Chipton-Ross is seeking an Contingent Workforce Coordinator for an opening in Hawthorne, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES: o As a Contingent Workforce Coordinator you are a team player in assisting your fellow team Specialists with various tasks and projects. o Core responsibility will be to schedule all candidate phone screens and onsite interviews and facilitate processing, on-board/off-board contingent employees and/or assist with processing our onsite vendors. o Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of sensitive information regarding various employee & non-employee types in regards to processing documents and personal information. o Assist with initiating and reviewing background results to meet company standards. o Coordinate meetings, web conference meetings as necessary. o Other general administrative duties to include but not limited to creating, maintaining and auditing of various electronic employee files. o Other various tasks may include booking conference rooms, organizing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements with the candidates, and generally making sure interviews are conducted. Y o Oversee various administrative duties and ability to multitask is a must, whilst possessing professional writing, analytical, and problem solving skills. o Ability to process high volume of administrative work while navigating various technology platforms. o May also assist in special projects that might include working on efficiency building. o Experience navigating through Workday, Jobvite, SAP Fieldglass, and Microsoft Office Suite and managing multiple inboxes is a bonus. o Strong communication and presentation skills are critical for success in this position. o Must be able to speak intelligently about our business and the space industry as you may interact with external and internal clients. o May even be asked to present to panels of engineers or vendors. o Looking for team players who are capable of moving very quickly and balancing many projects simultaneously. o Must be proficient using a computer and be comfortable with the following Microsoft Office programs; (Outlook, Word, Excel). o World class customer service skills. Positive "can-do" attitude. o The ideal candidate will be able to take direction from multiple staff members, and prioritize workload. o Candidate will be expected to provide innovative solutions to special requirements, often in a high-pressure environment while working with minimum supervision.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above Must have previous experience in a professional setting (internships count) involving marketing, human resources, sales, or technology.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Team player with a high sense of urgency to interact at all levels of the organization Must be adept at functioning in dynamic environments, able to identify and prioritize tasks, handle multiple on-going projects, be flexible to change and able to juggle shifting priorities Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy and discretion Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on one-to-one basis and in groups Ability to present as you will be hosting orientation on a bi-weekly basis. Strong research and presentation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Basic knowledge of personnel policy and procedure in accordance to federal and state laws regarding employment practices
Additional Requirements: Must be willing to travel occasionally to career fairs and other locations; no more than 10% travel required
