Wire Design Engineer I

Description:
Wire design

Location: Ridley Park, PA
Duration: 6 Months

Description:
Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas). Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Collects data to support the development of statements of work. Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities. Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture. Works under close supervision.

Additional Comments:
1 Year design experience on an aircraft platform (Preferred). Skill CEEDS is Preferred level is Novice. CEEDS Acronym stands for Common Electrical Electronic Database. CEEDS is an automated system where electrical designs created in a schematic environment facilitate the definition, manufacture, test, and support of the electrical/electronic configurations. CEEDS uses a schematic capture capability to download data from the system-wiring diagram to a tabular database. Program V22 Wire Design

Education / Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering classification from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
