Occupation Description: Manufacturing Engineering consists of jobs which provide manufacturing producibility knowledge and information for the engineering and manufacturing processes.
Job Family Description: Implements fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams. Develops tooling, interchangeability and replacement, and functional test plans. Using the established manufacturing process flow, defines sequences of events, develops text and graphics work instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material. Communicates with engineering teams to influence and clarify design concepts. Coordinates change incorporation, optimizes processes, addresses producibility issues and production and postproduction problems. Has the ability to demonstrate configuration control of the hardware, within the manufacturing build plan. Ability to apply process knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures. SKILLS NEEDED: - SAP is a +++ - Must have a background in Production Plans/Planning - Technical Planning background (Fab/Light Structures/Assembly/Machined Parts) - Metal finishing experience - NO LEAN CANDIDATES as Lean backgrounds are not "Technical"
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: - 1st Shift - OT is as required - Possible travel to Tulsa/McAlester - 90 days but could go longer - Candidates must be comfortable with walking around on the shop floor and working in an office environment
Ed / Exper Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
