Systems Engineer

Description:
Our client's Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in support of its Global Training Solutions (GTS) group in Orlando, Florida. The Systems Engineering applicant will participate in Systems Engineering and test development efforts. This position involves working in a team environment with responsibilities in all phases of Systems development including concept development, requirements, functional analysis, design reviews, implementation, test, verification and validation. Hardware integration experience and training systems experience is a plus.

Location: IIS, Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform systems engineering activities in support of the CPM Next Program
- Work with prime contractor stakeholders in the resolution of engineering systems issues.
- Develop and maintain requirements for systems and subsystems
- Prepare for and conduct design reviews
- Develop Test Procedures and Test Plans
- Write Test Reports
- Prepare and conduct Test Reviews
- Work in an IPT in the development of defense training equipment and products.

Required Skills:
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to contribute to an engineering team focused on development, test and related tasking.
- Systems Engineering process and discipline knowledge and experience with system design and component integration into a system of systems.
- Ability to work as a self-motivated individual and within a collaborative team environment.
- An understanding of Systems Engineering

Desired Skills:
- Systems engineering experience in developing CONOPS, requirements analysis, functional analysis and performing test execution activities is desired.
- Understanding of System Integration
- Understanding of Test Planning and Test Procedures
- Experience with requirements management using DOORS is desired.
- SYSML experience is a plus

Education Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science in an Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering)
- 4 years of prior related experience
