Struct & Payload Designer 4

Location: Germantown, MD
Duration: 12 months

Description:
Must be able to conceptualize and design parts using a variety of fabrication processes. They must be able to create models of parts in CAD and create accurate and concise fabrication and assembly documentation that follow industry standards and communicate with a vast audience. Their designs must be optimized for cost and ease of manufacturing. They will also be involved in design reviews, component selection, perform tolerance analysis, and prototyping of new designs. Must have a minimum of 14 years’ experience using 3D modeling tools Solidworks and/or Creo. Experience with injection molding plastics, vacuum forming plastics, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, connector selection, cable design, graphics design, and rendering in CAD.

Education / Experience: BSME not required, this is a designer position
