What You’ll Do:
•Lead small electrical engineering design teams in the development of Hardware Configuration Items and Subsystem Level electrical design
•Be a point-of-contact with program leadership in regard to technical design, schedule, budget and quality for the electrical engineering design team for which he/she is leading
•Be an individual contributor within the electrical engineering design team that develops Hardware Configuration Items and Subsystem Level electrical design
•Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance
•Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customer's changing business needs
•Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the company culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures
•Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure company services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices
•Interface with vendors for product development
•Interface with other customer engineering disciplines
•Provide direction/support to Manufacturing as required
•Attend formal design reviews as both a Presenter and Reviewer
•Interface with the local Navy office
•Occasional required travel to Field Sites

What You’ll Need:
•Ability to obtain TS clearance within 1 year of hire.
•Must have experience leading small electrical engineering development teams as well as working with VME designs and FPGA development experience using VHDL.
•Strong VHDL coding proficiency (Required)
•Familiar with the Xilinx FPGA workflow (Vivado is preferred, but not required)
•Familiar with test bench development and simulation (advanced verification techniques not required, but would be a benefit)
•Familiar with static timing concepts and clock domain crossing techniques (Required)
•Able to work in teams (Required)
•Strong Communications Skills (Required)
•Familiarity with the Trident program (Desirable)
•Requirements development, verification and documentation (Desirable)
•FPGA board design (configuration, XDC constraints, clock and reset handling) (Desirable)
•Embedded design (ARM processors, AXI, SDK, basic software programing) (Desirable)

Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related specialized area, combined with 5+ years of relevant work experience; or Master’s degree combined with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
