Location: Wilson, NC
Rate: $25.00/HR
Duration: 1 year contract
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Description:
Manufacturing Engineering areas of focus:
1) New product introduction (NPI)
2) EHS / pressure system initiatives
3) Automation projects

The selected candidate(s) will work within the Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Group, developing documentation and procedures in support of production process and requirements. Continually improve quality and productivity for products with processes within supported cell/area thru projects. Specify, justify, and install capital projects in support of production requirements. Provide technical support for safety and ergonomics within cell/area. Address technical problems varying in scope from moderate to difficult with minimal to no supervision.

Manages medium complexity projects around the design and planning of layout for assembly and materials handling. Adaptation machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Planning of sequence of operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- U.S. Citizen
- Solidworks, LabVIEW, Solumina a plus, but not required.
- Welding / Fabrication experience would also be helpful.
