What You’ll Do:

Maintain and repair electronic components and equipment in our vehicles and labs.
Involve electro-mechanical and environmental testing as well as data acquisition of tested hardware of electronics in the lab, on vehicles and at test sites.
Field travel to test sites is required to work as a part of an Engineering team to deliver high quality products to our customers using innovative solutions and creative thinking.

What You’ll Need:

Team oriented, flexible and willing to work occasional overtime hours (up to 15 hours).
Job may require travel to military bases for 2-4 week at a time
Must be able to obtain appropriate site clearances
Must have electro-mechanical AND environmental testing background
Must have solid knowledge of the following electronic transducers and their associated signal conditioning
Pressure transducers, strain gages, piezoelectric accelerometers, LVDT& string Pots, load cells, hot wire anemometers, Voltage and current, pitot tubes, flow meters, T/C
Solid knowledge of data acquisition techniques and hardware. A working knowledge of Signal Express
Software package or SOMAT Data Acquisition systems a plus.
Working knowledge of Lab View Programming a plus
Hydraulic test experience required
Solid computer skills and MS office a must
Working knowledge of Abrams Main Battle Tanks and Stryker Family of Vehicles a plus
Working knowledge of calibration and metrology techniques a plus
Needs Soldering skills, wire harness manufacturing experience
Must be able to represent Environmental Test and GDLS at customer sites

Education & Experience:

Technical Degree combined with 5 + Years of relevant experience.
