Chipton-Ross is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3 for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

Temporary Administrative Assistant is needed for functional homeroom support within the Vehicle Engineering Directorate in PAICoE-OKC, Aerospace Systems (AS). This individual will be a vital member of the team supporting a dynamic and challenging center. You will report directly to the VE Director. Responsibilities include supporting internal and external briefings & presentations, managing calendars and meetings schedules, making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports, answering phones, monitoring emails, preparing for and coordinating customer interface and customer visits, as well as, generating and maintaining internal file systems and records. Individual will be expected to handle sensitive personnel and technical information.
Responsibilities will also include providing back-up support to four other department managers within VE and be the on call backup to the CoE VP Admin.

High School diploma required.
Must have 6 years min Administrative Assistant experience supporting senior level management.
Expert with Concur travel and expense.
Ability to operate Skype meetings with ease.
Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
The successful candidate must be proactive, well-organized, and dependable and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
He/she must be a team player, possess effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate mature leadership capabilities, team player and advocate for improving admin staff relationships.
The position requires a high degree of professionalism, presence, flexibility, diplomacy, judgment, discretion and the ability to multitask and work independently and drive closure on every task with urgency.
Must have the ability to filter high traffic correspondence and contacts, and coordinate high volume of travel (both domestic and on occasion international).
Must be effective at coordination/hosting meetings as required, and be able to interface with all levels of management and customers. Be proactive in managing schedules including conflicts and changing travel requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NGC corporate policies related to directorate personnel.

High School diploma required.
Associates Degree is preferred.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek.
