We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Facilities Planner 4
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Auburn, WA

Responsibilities:
• Lead and initiate forecasting efforts to identify use and occupancy allocation, building utilization and density, capital and expense budget items, to manage real property assets and allocate site cost.
• Lead/guide project team, manage budgets, develop integrated schedules, negotiate changes, anticipate and mitigate risks, track earned value, project progress and conduct status reviews, to manage complex, high value projects within schedule and budget.
• Anticipate milestones in pursuit of project goals.
• Gain consensus for the optimal solution, including budget approval, by effectively organizing and presenting proposals to stakeholders and sponsors (e.g., executive management).
• Communicate approved plan to implementation team.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential conflict situations.
• Prepare and maintain master site facility plans.
• Lead space management initiatives and or systems implementation.
• Coordinate, maintain, and update use and occupancy tracking system to identify cost and allocate space.
• Participate developing space management forecast.
• Train/guide less experienced planners.
• Participate in and lead teams by using improvement tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, service delivery, and asset utilization (e.g., lean office and manufacturing, new technology development, special requests, proposal support), gaining insight into the customer’s vision and organization.
• Lead or participate in enterprise wide, regional and/or site facilities studies and master plans to assist the business decision making process in response to Company and organization initiatives (e.g., asset utilization, production rate plans, business plans).
• Gather and analyze data regarding current conditions and future requirements.
• Interact with internal and external organizations, senior level management, and government agencies in order to identify and assess impacts to the business operating plan.
• Prepare business case analysis.
• Lead and/or create long and short-range tactical plans (e.g., site, office, manufacturing, lab, warehouse) by identifying and developing facilities options to satisfy multiple project objectives (e.g., cost, schedule, location, conceptual layout, process/people flow) by working with the stakeholders and assessing resources (e.g., assets, space, budget, labor) in order to create the best value for the customer and the company.
• Prepare risk analysis and impact statements.
• Provide technical guidance to others.

Qualification:
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and typically 10+ years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
