Mechanical/Structural Engineer

Overall Responsibilities

The progress of the key responsibilities.
Work with cross organization team to develop mechanical and structural systems.
Prepare technical reports.
Communicate technical results to documentations and presentation.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Evaluate new product designs, define structural requirements and design strategy based on applicable standards and guidelines,

Perform design/analysis calculations for structural steel, sheet metal assemblies, mechanical components with minimum or no supervision. Support interdisciplinary projects, manage multiple structural evaluations, provide cost estimates and communicate technical report and presentations and assist design team in

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on structural design.
Minimum 3 years experience in Structural Engineering and related areas
Proficient knowledge of CADD tools (AutoCAD, Visual Analysis, STAAD/RAM, etc.) for efficient
production of engineering work.

Able to read design/construction drawings and be able to understand design narratives and
calculations

Strong communications skills - ability to work directly with internal and external teams
Design experience with structural steel, mechanical systems and components.
Self-motivated with ability to work in a team environment.
High level of attention to detail.
Nice to have

Masters degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on structural design. P.E. licensed Experienced with AISC Steel Manual, ACI 318, and ASCE 7. (This is a good pointer for nice to have)

Experience with AutoCAD, Creo or Solidworks.

Knowledge of Excel, and STAAD Pro (or other modeling software) a plus.

Exposure to construction means and methods.

Ability to meet required deadlines while simultaneously completing other tasks.

Experience working with other disciplines understanding their interface requirements.
