CNC Programmer

Description:
CNC Programmer to create CNC programs and assists with creating machining processes for manufacturing of precision components following Aerospace machining standards.

•Create and make edits to CNC programs for multi-axis components using CAD/CAM software
•Develop recommendations for process improvements
•3-axis part programming ◦Run pallets
◦3D milling

•4-axis parts programming ◦4-axis positioning

•5-axis parts programming ◦5-axis positioning

•Proficiency using Unigraphics NX software to write CNC programs (3 years)
•Familiar with speeds and feeds for exotic materials
•Ability to read and understand M-Code

•High School Diploma or GED

•3-10 years of high precision CNC machining experience required

•2-5 years of CNC programming experience

•CNC programming multi-axis experience

•CNC set-up experience

•CNC programming certificates desired

•GD&T, blueprint reading or metrology certificates desired
