PDS Tech provides flexible, high-value contingent staffing and SOW solutions to corporate leaders in a variety of fields, from aerospace and defense to machinery, communications, energy, technology, and service industries.
PDS Tech has recently joined the AKKA Group. AKKA is an international leader listed on the Euronext stock exchange and provides engineering consulting and R&D services for clients in the field of the automotive, aerospace and rail sectors including life sciences, telecommunications, energy, and defense.
  • Support internal teams with a focus on technical recruiting expertise to attract and hire top talent in various disciplines:  Embedded Software, Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics Technicians, etc.
  • Provide consultative partnership to hiring managers with the focus on sourcing for hard-to-find skills and passive top talent at all levels
  • Experienced full life cycle recruiting including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and candidate relationship management while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
  • A successful candidate must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements.
  • This position requires a demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of technical and professional positions and handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of leadership.
  • Ability to create and manage strategic alliances and drive the process.
  • Must demonstrate solid judgment, the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, experience & training
  • 3+ years full cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast paced and complex organization
  • Must have corporate recruiting experience, ideal candidate will have a combination of corporate and agency/staffing experience
  • Proficient in sourcing passive talent utilizing various sourcing techniques and tools (Networking, LinkedIn, Boolean searches, etc.)
  • Successful track record of understanding technical job and levels to effectively source talent
  • Experienced in negotiating and extending offers to candidates
  • Previous experience in a Technical and Engineering recruiting role for the Automotive industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. 
  • Strong follow through and documentation skills: email correspondence, system notes, etc.
  • Proactive, organized, flexible, responsive and resourceful collaborative team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
