Mechanical Engineer Heavy Truck

Description:
A Mechanical Engineer job in Florence KY is available through TriMech Services.
Summary of Job Description:
In this role you will be working with engineering team to ensure that the engineering designs are properly implemented and documented into a 3D Assembly Model and work with designer and drafters to ensure models and drawing packages are completed properly and on schedule
Key Job Requirements:

Create engineering calculations/analyses of assigned hardware to customer requirements
Provide Designers and more junior Engineers with technical guidance
Provide work estimates required for their assigned components or subsystems
Responsible for implementing Engineering Changes (EC’s) on assigned hardware
Highlights technical risks to the Systems Engineer when appropriate
Utilize experience with SolidWorks CAD & Analysis tools, (ANSYS), and MS Project experience
Must have excellent data documentation experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
Required Experience:
8-10 years of mechanical engineering experience which would include vehicle based systems
Experience supporting engineering efforts for Heavy Trucks (Commercial or Military) is preferred
Previous engineering experience with chassis, suspension, and steering systems is preferred
Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCad CAD software.
Experience working with design team to make modeling and drawing changes

Education Requirements:
Seeking degreed engineer with Mechanical, General, Electro/Mechanical, Mechatronics
