Job Summary:
12-month contract. 10 openings.
Individual will be assigned to work with a team of operators, technicians, and engineers in the Microwave Automate Factory (MAF) responsible for the assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, repair and/or inspection of various microelectronic, mechanical systems, packages and devices using cutting edge equipment, manufacturing processes and technology; Individuals will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment in conjunction with operating and managing technical machines.

The candidate must have basic computer and technical skills because certain equipment will demand it. Individuals must be familiar with a variety of machines including high-speed pick-n-place and wire bonding machines, welders, dispensers, cure ovens, inline & batch style cleaners, as well as manual and automated rework systems. The individual may be required to coat surface of parts, assemblies and finished products with protective or decorative materials. The individual may be required to perform welding processes. The individual may route, dispatch and expedite flow of material and be able to check work for correctness. The individual may be required to assist in directing work, assigning and outlining tasks and must be able to manage more than one job at a time. The individual must be flexible with the work as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
•High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing
•Experience working in a clean room environment (Class 8 or 5) •Knowledge of clean room manufacturing practices, Military, and/or ANSI/J standards pertaining to electronic assembly
•Basic computer knowledge
•Ability to work for long periods while standing, bending and walking •Strong interpersonal skills
•Knowledge of 6S/ Kaizen
•Experience interfacing with a variety of personnel
Desired Skills:
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Ability to cope with a high stress and fast pace environment •Direct experience with SMT assembly and rework, and manual or automated soldering, Interconnect, and epoxy attachment processes and technology is a plus
•Strong safety focus
•Ability to work with minimum supervision
