Quality Engineer -Parts Inspection (454)

Description:
*This is a full time, 6 month contract position, located in Fort Worth *

We are hiring for a contract quality engineer who will be working on Military (MIL-STD) parts and spare kits inspection, as well as possible controls and instrumentation items. Candidate will inspect, and control of malfunctioning produced products as well as corrective actions to prevent quality lapses. Applicant will, from a quality perspective, develop protocols for processing materials into products, making sure quality standards are in place while seeking out new quality methods as well as improving existing methodologies.

Day to day duties may include coming up with testing and inspection processes, conducts testing, auditing, documentation, analysis and cost reduction principles close at hand.

Required:

*1-3 year's experience working in a large manufacturing company, as a quality engineer.
*Experience working in an ISO (9000, or similar) or AS 9100 compliant manufacturing site.
*Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, written instructions.
*Engineering degree

Prefer:

*Experience with manufacturing inspection software, such as Enovia (or similar PDM package)
*Composite material experience
*Aerospace manufacturing experience
*Familiarity with Faro Arm equipment
*Source inspection background
