Description:
This position supports Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) efforts including day to day coordination between the program teams responsible for these combined efforts. Responsibilities also include integration and coordination with software design, implementation, and systems integration teams. Tasking also includes reporting to Technical Management and Cost Account Manager responsible for subsystem architecture and vehicle management (which includes software, guidance and control design and analysis). Must have demonstrated working knowledge of flight control system architecture, autonomous control algorithms & analysis, system integration and test. Requires knowledge and experience in Navigation design and implementation and knowledge and experience in seeker/radar integration into Navigation solution and Kalman filter design, trades and performance.

Strong system engineering experience and the ability to mechanize the requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control systems is highly desired. Prior experience in hypersonic flight regime is highly desired. The selected candidate will participate in addressing GN&C direction with senior leadership and the customer at program meetings.

Mandatory:
MATLAB/Simulink
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and several years of related experience. Hands on experience in the design of flight control laws. Must have a good understanding of aircraft stability, control, and aerodynamics.
