Aerospace Test Systems Engineer - Contract

On behalf of our client, Ingenium is recruiting and evaluating candidates for the position of Test Systems Engineer supporting requirements and analysis. Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly complex electromechanical, mechanical, and hydromechanical aerospace components and systems for government and commercial applications.

This is a contract to hire position located in Torrance, CA.
Customer is open to Contract- long term contract or contract to hire.

Aerospace Test Systems Engineer - Contract

On behalf of our client, Ingenium is recruiting and evaluating candidates for the position of Test Systems Engineer supporting requirements and analysis. Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly complex electromechanical, mechanical, and hydromechanical aerospace components and systems for government and commercial applications.

This is a contract to hire position located in Torrance, CA.

Principal Responsibilities:

• The functional expertise required for this Test Requirements and Analysis Engineering Position is primarily in the field of Systems Engineering with significant experience required in the areas of Requirements Definition, Integration, V&V, modeling & simulation & with project management.
• Build a project plan for the successful testing of new products from start to finish.
• Conceptualize and design of automatically controlled mechanical/hydraulic test rigs.
• Primary concerns are system or component performance and integration, both being achieved within budget and prescribed schedules.
• The incumbent will operate either independently or as part of a design/development team, which includes other Department engineers.
• Must frequently solicit aid and support to achieve difficult schedule objectives.
• The incumbent's responsibilities may include the direct supervision of up to four subordinate engineers and/or project or product-engineering technicians.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience understanding the design, analysis, and development of complex electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, or electro pneumatic – servo mechanisms.
• In addition, he/she must have a proven record of successful development programs working as a part of a project team in this field.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required

Compensation: Highly competitive with benefits
