CNC Programmer

Description:
A CNC Programmer job in Houston, Texas is currently available through Belcan with one of our Manufacturing clients. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, troubleshooting, operation of CNC and Manual Lathe and Mill machines. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School Diploma or GED and 8 to 10 years' experience programming, setting-up and operation of CNC and Manual Lathes and Mills. CNC Programmer Job duties:
* Program Lathes and Mills with Esprit CAM Software
* Formulate efficient operational programs that maximize machine utilization and product quality
* Complete and maintain program documentation and filing systems
* Verify program accuracy using simulations
* Responsible for coordinating with Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for part programs created or modified.
* Maintain responsibility for routers for part programs created.

Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 8 to 10 years' experience programming, setting-up and operation of CNC and Manual Lathes and Mills.
* in-depth understanding of machining operations, (turning, boring, milling, drill & tap)
* Very knowledgeable with OSHA 1910 CFR required
