Job Description:
Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Supports system components'' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Trains others. Works under general direction.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of 5 years mechanical design engineering experience creating engineering changes for existing document based engineering
2. minimum of 3 years experience with computer aided design in Siemens NX
3. Minimum 3 years with maritime or aerospace product engineering
4. Minimum 1 year experience with teamcenter
5. Prior development program experience
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
1. Prior Boeing Defense & Space experience
2. Prior autonomous submarine experience
3. Prior production design support experience
Describe the project they will be working on: Engineers will be working on engineering support to complete engineering change requests, engineering change notices, notice of non-conformance report completions, and liaising with suppliers to support on going production of a development program.

Type of background you are looking for (education, # yrs experience, etc.): Requires Bachelors of Science in Engineering/Math/Science and commensurate experience noted in minimum qualifications-seeking engineers who can resolve design issues, create change requests, and release engineering change notices including updating drawings & parts lists.
Software skills required: CAD Software-NX, Teamcenter, MS office
