Sr. RF Integration & Test Technician

Description:
A Sr. RF Integration & Test Technician job in Scottsdale, AZ is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for executing advanced end to end SATCOM system testing with highly integrated satellite and ground systems simulators. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's Degree in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

Sr. RF Integration & Test Technician Job duties:

* Execute advanced end to end SATCOM system testing with highly integrated satellite and ground system simulators.
* Coordination of concurrent system testing interactions in a fast moving dynamic laboratory environment.
* Readily telegraph any impact due to simulator testing on the entire ground system laboratory environment.
* Support laboratory integration meetings possessing the understanding of interactions with the entire ground system.
* Troubleshooting RF equipment and component issues involving typically upconverters, downconverters, mixers, LOs and timing references.

Qualifications:

* Fluency required in operating real-time spectrum analyzers, signal generators, vector signal generators, Arbitrary waveform generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meter measurement operations and calibration.
* Measurement proficiency in RF system insertion loss and power, RF delay, VSWR, WCDMA QPSK EVM, PCDE and Phase Noise measurement techniques.
* Specific fluency in Techtronic, Agilent and R&S test equipment.
* Familiarity with testing setup, troubleshooting and understanding the measurement results for RF concepts of phase noise, jitter, intermodulation.
* Expertise in generating test and characterization plans to validate hardware and software.
