Manufacturing Engineers - Aerospace / Aviation / Aircraft
MUST have either Landing Gears OR Arresting Gears experience.
Do you have a valid Passport? This is preferred to start in Europe for the first 21 days.
Main point of Contact for technical issues in machining, sub-assembly and the assembly shop floor. Act proactively as a troubleshooter and resolve issues quickly.
Responsible for the preparation and managing of robust and capable (sub-)assembly process routings.
Accountable for product development, first article development, configuration changes, build process definition and implementation.
Investigate product deviations and handle them. Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce/eliminate non-conformances.
Implement Lean initiatives with regard to optimizing the general performance.
In consultation with technicians and operators, innovate, develop, improve and implement tooling and equipment for process optimization.
Advice and coach mechanics and technicians by providing on the job training and support.
Take Safety and Quality as a priority.
Technical Bachelor or Master, preferably in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Work experience as an engineer in an machining & assembly environment
Experience of managing New Product / Process introduction (industrialization) & existing production process improvements
Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
Working knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma processes and practices
Green/Black belt certification is a plus
Good quality mind-set and strong documentation/reporting skills
Good communicative skills
Experience with ERP systems
