Description:
*Plans the job
*Determines methods and sequence of operations
*Prepares the breakdown of all types and sizes of major jigs and fixtures
*Determines the methods and sequences of fabrication and assembly
*Performs the final setup and assembly of components
*May develop, fabricate, and prove optical and mechanical accessories for the purpose of adapting and modifying optical instruments and similar equipment used in building and checking major tooling.
*Performs modification and rework of the level of difficulty of the operations described above.
*Demonstrates a complete understanding of the principles and use of applicable optical equipment

Mandatory:
*5 year investigation.
*4 years of experience working with tool and die or jig and fixture.
*Experience with form block and/or template making or equivalent.
*Experience with hand tools and Shop Machinery.
*Experience with Blueprint reading.
*Experience with metrology
