PC Network Support Technicians 2 - San Diego, CA

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring PC Network Support Technicians 2 for open positions in San Diego, California.

Job Duties:

• Support PC Refresh, new deployments, and device de-commissions.
• Application installation and data transfer support.
• Will deliver and setup new equipment.
• Will remove old devices and prep for de-commission.
• Will troubleshoot HP hardware and perform warranty work and repair.
• Sources and purchases Machine Parts, Electronic Components, Wire, Cable Assemblies & Connectors, Test Equipment, Raw Material, Services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
• Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Proposal support and preparation of bid packages.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.

Qualifications:

• A+ certification is required.
• Good working knowledge of VSM, Altiris, and Sophos is preferable.
• Excellent customer communication skills are required.
• HP and Dell hardware troubleshooting, warranty, and repair.
• Must be able to move personal computer equipment.
• Must have a good working knowledge of Windows 7; knowledge of Windows 10 preferred.
