Flight Test Engineer

Description:
Ensure effective electronic hardware engineering efforts are conducted on flight test data systems through integration of new hardware technology and hardware administration of all systems in the Flight Test Data Center, to support Test and Evaluation programs.

• Integrate new hardware technology with flight test data systems
• Data Center system administration
• Work closely with software development team to validate and troubleshoot data acquisition software changes
• Configure remote data acquisition systems to support offsite flight testing
• Coordinate with IT on network architecture issues and offsite network solutions
• Troubleshoot a variety of real-time and post flight data acquisition issues

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering
• Working knowledge of PCM data acquisition systems
• Working experience with telemetry equipment
• Working knowledge of network protocols and network architecture
