What You’ll Do:
•Develop and deliver high-quality, comprehensive training products and services to the company’s sales team, VARs and tier-1 customer support representatives.
•Conduct New Equipment Training at Government/Military sites
•Perform job and task analysis leading to the development of training strategies, plans, curriculum and courseware
•Travel within the United States to conduct training up to two weeks at a time, and in the initial phase up to three weeks per month for 1-2 months.

What You’ll Need:
•Because the successful candidate will be training sale team members and VARs this position requires a dual set of knowledge, skills and abilities: one in training and training development and in the other in sales or business development.
•Must have a working knowledge of the Systems Approach to Training/Instructional Systems Design (SAT/ISD) methodologies in order to assist the Training Lead in completing the task and skills analysis and course design criteria for the training materials
•Must have Instructor Certification from any branch of the Military, a commercial entity, or have been certified to teach within the public school system at the high school or college level.
•Also, as the training materials will include operator level equipment training, direct experience in operating and/or troubleshooting military communications, cryptographic or intelligence systems or hardware is highly desirable. Experience operating UHF/VHF, AM/FM radios beneficial
•Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Word and PowerPoint, and experience in creating or modifying lesson required.
•Demonstrable ability to train the greater sales team on product knowledge and selling strategies so they may create a presence for the URC-300 product within targeted accounts and key markets. These strategies are developed with assistance from MARCOM and senior sales staff.
•Provides for the greater sales team the knowledge they require to identify and overcome obstacles on top opportunities. This knowledge will be developed by working with the Business Development manager, MARCOM and senior sales staff
•Prior military with a working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Objective Force requirements and acquisition processes a plus
•Demonstrable skill of being highly organized and a self-starter
•Experience with multimedia and or Computer-Based training development a plus
•Must have direct sales experience and/or direct customer interaction experience while marketing/selling systems or products
•Candidate must be able to communicate and interact with all disciplines (engineering, visual media, MARCOM, technical support) and at all program levels in order to effectively gather content for the training materials.
•Must have excellent communications and presentation skills and many hundreds of hours of platform/classroom training experience. Direct experience in sales training is required.
•Must be able to organize information in logical sequence and be able to present information in a clear, easy to understand way for a sales and customer support audience.
•Must have excellent writing abilities for creating and updating sales training materials and sales support documentation

Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s of Science or Bachelor’s of Technology combined with 5+ years of relevant work experience; or Master’s combined with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
