RMS (Reliability, Maintainability, Safety) Engineer needed for a 15+ months contract opportunity in Shelton, CT!

Description:

The overall objectives of the Logistic Support Analysis Engineer are to establish, validate and update the maintenance concept for the entire aircraft life cycle by:

Analyzing engineering source data for impact to Organizational level maintenance. This will be performed in reviewing the S70-I data that was populated within the SAMS data base for the HH-60W as well as reviewing the engineering changes received through Matrixone and incorporating them into the SAMS data base as applicable.

Identifying the components to be repaired (Candidate list) including the scheduled and unscheduled tasking. All Organization and Depot level repairable components will be identified.
We are under contract to deliver a list of all depot repairable components to the customer on a continuing basis.
Identifying level of repair by establishing SM&R codes.
Many parts on this aircraft are common legacy components and the LORA process for SM&R code determination will be limited however full blown LORA and RCM will be performed on all new parts.
Establishing repair parts/tools/consumables.

Identifying/minimizing special tool and support equipment requirements. The analyst is also responsible for identifying all tools, test equipment, support equipment and consumable materials required for each individual task.

Establishing parts provisioning requirements consistent with the maintenance concept. The analyst will determine/assign the SM&R code for each part within each task as well as populate required parts data to support the needs of the Provisioning department.
Developing Maintenance Task Analysis supporting Remove/Install, Repair, Service and other tasks defined in the Maintenance Plan. The analyst will create an LCN for each repairable component and all associated repair tasks for that component.
The analyst will then review the engineering drawings to identify which parts will be required for the repair of that component
Entering/updating the data into a SAMS database capable of producing LSA-024 (Maintenance Plan) and LSA-020 (Maintenance Task Narrative).
The analyst will create task steps for all new parts being added into the maintenance plan for the HH-60U.
Ensuring authorized technical review/acceptance review of submitted packages to ensure compliance with statement of work, engineering source data and departmental quality plan.
