Electrical Engineer Wire Harness W/AutoCAD (215)

Description:
*This is a full-time, 6-month contract opportunity located in Lexington, KY*

We are searching for a contract Electrical Engineer who will develop military aircraft component / system designs drafted under SAE, ANSI, and ASME. After design, the work will be to handle the fabrication, installation, integration/installation of the design(s).

Required:
*6 years’ experience in wiring and wire harness design, 2D (like AutoCAD)
*Knowledge of SAE AS50881 design guidelines and ANSI/ASME Y14.100 design/drafting standards.

*Experience with an engineering change process and/or configuration control process

*Must be eligible and apply for clearance upon starting; requires US Citizenship.

Pluses:
*CATIA V5 design experience
*Use of TeamCenter Engineering and JobScope Reports
*Familiarity with C-130 or other aircraft; particularly wiring. Experience with an engineering change process and/or configuration control process
