Job Description -

Primary Duties:

•    Perform scheduled, unscheduled and preventive maintenance on production and facility support equipment.
•    Follows machine repair specifications and adhere to assigned maintenance schedules.
•    Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical related machine problems, utilizing assorted testing equipment such as volt/amp meters, mego-meters, oscilloscopes, and anemometers
•    Creates machine logs that accurately document machine malfunctions and downtime when performing unscheduled maintenance
•    Ability to perform major and minor repairs, tests, and calibration for mechanical, electrical, and electronically controlled production and facility support equipment.
•    Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical high voltage and control in addition to electronic control circuits and have the ability to read and understand electrical schematic and electronic diagrams.
•    Should possess basic electronic troubleshooting skills to diagnose symptoms to at least board level, component level troubleshooting ability is a plus.

Secondary Duties:
•    Support facility I production daily scheduled and non-scheduled work order and preventive maintenance related activities. Job duties include, but are not limited to, general repair and troubleshooting of facility related items such as compressed air       systems, rotary and reciprocating vacuum systems, minor restrooms repairs, pvc, copper, and galvanized plumbing repair and installation, and possess the ability to learn and understand security, fire, and energy management systems
•    Installs new equipment, moves and sets up equipment, as required
•    May assist during installation and electrical wiring and hookups for work tables, lamps, and other electrical equipment in support of facilities operation moves and work cell relocation
•    Performs general facilities and maintenance tasks required to support business operations
•    Chemical handling and emergency response to minor spills will be required
•    Must have ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and electronic wiring diagrams.
•    Associate's degree in appropriate discipline, and two years of related experience, or, in the absence of an associate's degree, high school diploma or equivalent plus five years of related experience.
•    Applicant should possess a valid driver's license. candidate will drive a Rockwell Collins vehicle locally between facilities. Will also be driving a forklift.
•    Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, with no restrictions. Over 50 pounds would be assisted lifting or with equipment
•    General computer knowledge (Microsoft, maintenance database)
