Description:
Thermodynamic Engineers with a suggested mix of 1 Sr and 2 Jr experience engineers in either Integrated Propulsion/Fluids Analysis OR Non-Integrated Fluid Systems Propulsion/Fluids Analysis.

IFS Propulsion/Fluids Analysis Tasks
- Perform Prop/Fluids Analysis related flight and ground control system software testing and develop recommendations to resolve issues. Perform Prop/Fluids Analysis related flight simulation testing and verification. Work closely with ground software and IFS team.

Non-IFS Propulsion/Fluids Analysis Tasks
- Perform fluids and thermodynamic analyses for booster (Atlas V and Delta IV) and upper stage (Centaur and DCSS) to support mission integration. Tank pressurization and vent system fluids analysis, including defining control levels and associated flight software constants and establishing helium margin. Depletion system, Reaction Control System, feedline, and purge system fluids analysis. Propellant utilization system, and propellant tank slosh fluids analysis. Perform pressure drop, line sizing, and orifice sizing fluids analyses for ground systems that support booster and upper stage airborne systems. Perform various transient flow analyses such as flow-induced vibration and water-hammer analyses. Document fluids and thermodynamic analysis.
