Principal Software Engineer

Description:
The Software Engineering Center is seeking a Built in Test Engineer to work on next gen Tactical Airborne Sensor System.

Built In Test (BIT) Engineer Job Description:
Applicant needs to have experience with Real Time Embedded Systems in regards to Built-In-Test (BIT). The BIT suite of applications will need to provide confidence for correct operation of each module in various subsystems.

Required Skills:
- Startup-Up BIT (SBIT): Comprehensive testing of hardware and functionality during system startup. Needs to identify subsystem and module in the case of failure.
- Initiated BIT (IBIT): Manual BIT (intrusive). Halts current application and runs comprehensive tests and failure identification on system/module.
- Periodic BIT (PBIT): Non-intrusive tests that can be run while other applications are active.

Desired Skills:
- Device Driver
- Board Support Package
- Ability to use a logic analyzer and/or oscilloscope
- Knowledge of EO/IR and RADAR systems

Required Education:
- B.S. Engineering Degree in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
