Metallic Structural Analysis Engineer for 2 year CONTRACT

Metallic Structural Analysis Engineer
Hermosa Beach, CA area
2 years CONTRACT
US Citizen required.
No secret clearance needed.
Pass Background Check & Drug Test

Essential Functions:
Metallic Structural Analysis Engineer:
• Position requires experience in metallic structural analysis methods and documentation, detailed analysis procedures, load paths, load distribution, sizing, fittings/fasteners/joints/splices, acoustics/vibration familiarity, structural integrity plan, design criteria, stability, crippling, durability analysis and finite element modeling of structure.
• Desired skills include familiarity with layout sizing, and structural integrity evaluations.

Basic Qualifications:
 B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with 9 years of experience performing structural analysis in Aerospace structures.
OR
 M.S. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with 7 years of experience performing structural analysis in Aerospace structures.

Preferred Qualifications:
o Previous experience performing structural analysis on the F35 Program, and familiar with the Lockheed Martin tools such as IMAT, IDAT, and PDM.
o Experience in finite element analysis/modeling techniques, including manipulation of large finite element models.
