Job Duties:

• Oversees and manages all aspects of the aircraft material required for current aircraft modifications.
• Manager will be onsite at the airlines business partner to act as a liaison with the business partner’s materials team and the heavy maintenance representative
• Manager will act as an escalation point of contact to identify all program progress and to identify potential risk to the program regarding material allocation and material status
• This position requires partnering divisionally and cross divisionally to ensure that all material needed for the modification and related activities are at required levels
• This position will ensure that all materials and kit/ship sets are allocated to perform required mods
• This position will work very closely with the Technical Program Manager as a production resource and report directly to the Director, Fleet Programs, and provides A320 fleet modification subject matter expertise
• This position will drive business cases for program changes
• This position will partner internally and externally on material deliveries, equipment installation, and retrofit planning and execution

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ of aircraft modification and program management
• Demonstrated expert understanding of FARs and air carrier operations gained with previous experience and/or technical support of commercial aircraft
• Proven expert knowledge and technical mastery of A320 systems and operating procedures
• Goal-oriented, with a bias for action and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to understand the root causes of issues and to resolve in a thorough manner
• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to execute on multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines and work independently with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is key
• Strong communication skills (e.g. verbal, written, and listening), including documenting business processes, use cases and business requirements documentation, and functional specifications
• Airframe & Powerplant License preferred, but not required
