Software Quality Engineer

Description:
Software Quality Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: DOE ($28/hr - $35/hr)
Duration: 5 month W2 contract
Shift: Regular 5/40
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**

Duties:
-Participate and contribute in peer reviews of requirements, design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
-Conduct testing and monitoring activities, software configuration verification, defect tracking, corrective and preventive actions, review, inspect and signoff of deliverables.
-Perform software inspection, testing, verification and validation.
-Must be experienced with code verification and peer review.
-Perform verification of requirements allocations, traceability, and testability.
-Review software design, change specifications, and plans against process requirements.
-Verify project and process control documentation is compliant with requirements, objectives and contract.
-Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.

Skills:
-Ability to develop, modify, apply, and maintain standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures.
-Experience in test engineering: test planning, test case design and test execution.
-Excellent documentation skills.
-Experience with source control and bug tracking systems.
-Experience with C, C+ and scripting.
-Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Education:
5 + Years of Software QA Experience
