Job Title: Plant Engineer - Mechanical/HVAC Engineer

Location: Richland, WA (On-site)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $41-90/hour

Contract Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension

Shifts: Mon-Thurs, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m (Flexibility to work weekends and overtime)

JOB SUMMARY

The Plant Engineer role is responsible for technical activities & support to operations and maintenance of plant equipment during Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Commissioning and Operations. This position is within the Mechanical/HVAC group.

The Plant Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Operation and maintenance of plant equipment
HVAC installation/maintenance
Conducting system assessments
Verifying and testing systems after maintenance/modifications
System requirements and performance criteria, system assessments, change control, work control, and documentation control

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline

Or related science from a four-year accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience.

One year of nuclear facility experience is preferred.
Experience in processing facilities, DOE facilities, or DOD facilities preferred.
Experience with national consensus codes and standards preferred.
