Technical Support Rep N3

Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and/or electromechanical fields.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Fabrication, assembly and test of complex mechanical and structural assemblies.
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Perform calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Perform non-routine, moderately complex assignments.
• Research processes and analyzes data and may develop recommendations.
• May recommend methods, operations, sequences; constructs and/or modifies products and equipment to requirements.
• Limited supervision where no instructions are needed on routine work and only general instructions are given on new lines of work or special assignments.
• May provide guidance to other employees.
• Errors may be difficult to detect and may cause significant loss of time or customer/user dissatisfactions.

Qualification:
• Security Clearance / International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR). Therefore, all applicants must be U. S. Persons as defined in ITAR 120. 15 (e. g. , U. S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual. Also see 8 U. S. C. 1101(a)(20) and 8 U. S. C. 1324b(a)(3)
• Additional specialized training and/or certification may be required for the specific job assignment.
• Full knowledge of the general aspects and technical phases of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
• Hydraulics experience preferred.
*U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Associate’s Degree combined with 3 years of directly related experience
