seeking a Mechanicial Engineer Level 2 in Owego, NY.

Description:
Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. Due to the variety of the work products, the candidate will need a flexible and adaptable skill set. This position will perform detailed engineering design and analysis roles. The mechanical engineer will assist in multi-functional product development for ruggedized military processing solutions, including mechanical chassis and circuit card modeling, thermal analysis and platform system integration. Must be comfortable within a rapid development environment; able to execute within short timelines and a given budget. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment.

Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory-
Creo V4, GD&T knowledge, 5 years of mechanical design knowledge, BS or MS degree in mechanical design.

Desired-
EPDM knowledge
