JOB TITLE: Senior Product Review Engineer - Liaison
LOCATION: North Charleston, SC

Summary:
Develop design solutions for nonconforming parts and systems on airplanes, addressing build and design errors found during production.
With Material Review Board (MRB) certification, they have the authority to revise FAA-approved type designs to account for production deviations.
Assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
Evaluate and analyze production discrepancies (electrical, functional, materials, assemblies, installations, and more).
Represent engineering on the Material Review Board (MRB), collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams.
Determine corrective actions to eliminate and prevent chronic errors.
Review and approve design revisions to improve production processes.
Work cross-functionally to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Audit and review MRB activities for domestic and foreign suppliers.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
10+ years of related experience.
ABET-accredited engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Aerospace/Aeronautical).
Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
