Mechanical Operator – Cabin Pressure

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (OT Available)

Are you an experienced Production Tech Operator looking for a role where precision and craftsmanship matter? PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Mechanical Operator – Cabin Pressure to assemble and inspect critical components for aerospace and industrial applications. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Mechanical Assembly: Assemble valves, regulators, ducts, and pressure control systems using hand and power tools.
Precision Soldering & Testing: Operate automated assembly and test equipment to ensure quality and functionality.
Inspection & Repair: Review assembled products for adherence to engineering specifications, making necessary repairs.
Machine Setup & Maintenance: Perform equipment setup, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and technicians to optimize processes and ensure high-quality production.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

4-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly or production operations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and technical documentation.
Experience with hand and power tools used in precision assembly.
Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve assembly issues.
Commitment to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma plus additional technical coursework or equivalent experience.
Certifications related to soldering, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing processes.
Experience with automated test equipment and in-circuit/functional test fixturing.
Knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, and documentation control systems.
