Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
A Manufacturing Engineer role located in Phoenix, AZ is currently available through Belcan. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all aspects of manufacturing operations in an Aerospace Environment. This includes preproduction planning, material acquisition, manufacturing documentation, non -conforming material review, tool management, production disposition, defect trend analysis and corrective action, contract and technical reviews of projects.

Manufacturing Engineer job duties:

* Frequent use of technical principles towards a variety of problems of moderate scope plays a
critical role to the completion of milestone with specific projects as well as leading teams and
managing groups
* develop a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering
disciplines
* develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs
* discuss and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors,
suppliers and customers
* ensure a product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating
environments repeatedly
* manage projects using engineering principles and techniques
* plan and design new production process
* produce details of specifications and outline designs
* recommend modifications following prototype test results using research, analytical, conceptual
and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
* work with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* BS degree
* Minimum of 10 years of Aerospace manufacturing
* Must have strong SolidWorks Capabilities
* Must have strong Mastercam programming capabilities of 3,4-and 5 axis machines
* Must have the ability to Engineer a Manufacturing Process on complex Aerospace Hardware
* Must be proficient with software applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* MUST be a US person
