Hardware Engineer Technician II (Contract)

Description:
A Hardware Engineer Technician II (Contract) job in Louisville, CO is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible execute build and test of flight hardware along with troubleshooting activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, work instructions and specific customer requirements. You'll ensure our systems and components meet established specifications. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's Degree with 2 years of related experience.

Hardware Engineer Technician II (Contract) Job Duties:

* Executes building and testing of flight hardware along with troubleshooting activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, work instructions and specific customer requirements.
* Completes parts lists, checks drawings in accordance with released engineering.
* Work includes, but is not limited to, dismantling, repairing, fabricating, assembling and erecting structural components for GSE and flight hardware.
* Assists as required during inspection verification or modification/maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree in a related field or study.
* 2 years of relevant experience.
* Experience in fabrication work including metal, aluminum, composite and plastics.
* Basic knowledge of cutting, drilling and repair work.
* Experience in two part compounds and bonding processes.
* Experience with overhead cranes, gantries and powered industrial equipment.
* Mechanical assembly experience.
* Understands the use of basic measuring tools and hand tools.
* MS Office Suite Programs experience.
* Experience working in MRP.
* Ability to read and follow complex written instructions.
