EH&S/Facilities Coordinator

Description:
An EH&S/Facilities Coordinator role located in Redmond, WA is currently available through Belcan. EH&S/Facilities Coordinator will provide direction and assistance and objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. The EHS/Facilities Coordinator will be the primary focal point for EHS/Facility and Maintenance.

EH&S/Facilities Coordinator duties:

* Initiate and influence integration of EH&S/Facility policies and practices into the business.
* Assist in implementation of EH&S/Facility programs and procedures to ensure compliance.
* Assist consultants and contractors on related EHS/Facility issues.
* Administer compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems.
* Assist in conducting EH&S/Facility education programs.
* Develop and deploy maintenance and repair standards for facilities.
* Develop preventive maintenance procedures, frequencies and schedules on all plant equipment
and facilities.
* Pursue state of the art technology and processes to enhance serviceability and delivered quality
requirements.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional matrixed organization.
* Assist in issue resolution.
* Provide support on change initiatives including planning, facilitating, etc.
* Provide support for the development and execution of a communication plan to ensure effective
two-way communication takes place.
* Administrate trainings to ensure compliance to site mandatory training requirements.
* Adhere to all policies and procedures.
* Problem analysis and resolution.
* Ability and willingness to continue to expand knowledge and experience base.
* Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines.
* Drive and resourcefulness in making contributions both inside and outside areas of specifically
assigned responsibilities.
* Work with hazardous chemicals such as: Acetone, Alcohol, paints, sealants, bonding solvents.
* Other tasks/duties/responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably Mechanical or Industrial
Engineering
* Knowledge of maintenance processes and measurements
* OSHA / WISHA
* Hazmat Certs (Hazwoper - RCRA - SARA)
* Crane Inspections
* Fall Training
* Storm Water
* Forklift Training
* DOT Manifest Certification
* Fire Type Training (Fire Extinguisher - FEMA NIMS course)
* Bloodborne
* Hearing Conservation
* Respiratory Protection
* Job Hazard Analyzes
* Lock out / Tag out
* Tier 2 Section 313 R Reporting
