Advanced Engineering Technician

Description:
An Advanced Engineering Technician job in Scottsdale, AZ is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for performing hardware integration and test of highly complex, highly-reliable spaceflight payload electronics. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's Degree in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

Advanced Engineering Technician Job duties:
* Perform alignment, testing, problem troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical evaluation of Digital and RF modules.
* Tasks would include developing and prepare reports, procedure documentation, and a high level of understanding of product specifications.
* Primarily perform hardware integration and test of highly complex, highly-reliable spaceflight payload electronics.
* Interface daily with engineering and may be tasked to run special tests.
* Work successfully with associates in other departments and understand cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications:
* Strong background in electrical test techniques is required. Knowledgeable use of test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators is required.
* Candidate must be able to read and follow detailed work instructions and/or test procedures. Second and/or third shift coverage will be required for most assignments.
* Able to interpret complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics and the necessary interfaces.
* Able to manage time effectively in order to support multiple projects throughout the work day.
